Dr. Bindi Patel, DDS
At Young Dental Care, we want to change the way you feel about going to the dentist. I grew up with dentistry. My father is a dentist, as well as my uncle and many of my cousins. I come from a long lineage of people who are passionate about teeth and understand the importance they play in our overall health.
From a young age, I have been involved in all aspects of dentistry. As a high school student, I worked at my father’s dental practice as an assistant cleaning the instruments and wiping the chairs in the operatory rooms. In college, I shadowed my father in the office and realized that the dental profession combined my love of art and science. I realized that I could utilize my creative and compassionate strengths, as well as my studies in biology, to excel in this field.
After completing dental school at the University of Illinois Chicago and graduating with honors, I used the knowledge I learned from my father and completed over 200 hours of continuing education in my first year of practice alone. I became trained in treating cosmetic dentistry, neuromuscular dentistry, temporomandibular joint disorders, obstructive sleep apnea, and proper airway and breathing development, as well as facial growth and development in children. I learned so much more beyond the general dental treatments I had learned in school and realized how proper structure and function of the teeth, airway and jaw joints align with not only whole-body health but also beauty.
After getting married to my college sweetheart, Ameet, and settling down, I chose to practice at the best establishment in the area. In my free time, I am busy chasing my two boys, Ryaan and Neal, and getting ready to welcome our newest bundle to the world. She will be arriving in the spring of 2024.

Dr. Beth Zaun
Dr. Beth Zaun received her Doctor Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of Iowa College of Dentistry in Iowa City, IA. Prior to dental school, she attended the University of Iowa for her undergraduate education as well.
Dr. Zaun has 15 years of experience in both general and pediatric dentistry. Additionally, she has completed numerous advanced training courses in endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontics. Dr. Zaun is a certificated provider of Six Month Smiles and Invisalign.
Dr. Zaun looks forward to providing dental care for you and your family. She believes strongly in starting a comfortable and caring relationship with your children to provide them with proper habits to keep their teeth healthy for life. She makes it a priority to get to know the patients individually to provide for their oral health needs. You can trust that Dr. Zaun cares as much about your oral health and comfort as you do.
When Dr. Zaun is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a mom of two, handsome little boys. Dr. Zaun is also passionate about following Iowa Hawkeye football and Chicago Cubs baseball.
Dr. Chris Nguyen
Dr. Chris Nguyen, a multi-talented individual, can be described as a pianist, molecular biologist, engineer, and dentist. Born and raised in Fairfax, VA, he embarked on an educational journey that paved the way for his remarkable achievements. Beginning with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nanomedicine Engineering from the University of Virginia, Dr. Nguyen's thirst for knowledge motivated him to pursue a Master of Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University. During this time, he focused on researching potential treatments for Alzheimer's disease, showcasing his commitment to advancing medical knowledge.
Throughout his professional career, he has developed a strong passion for endodontics and tooth extractions, utilizing these skills to alleviate patients' pain and discomfort promptly. Motivated by a profound sense of purpose, he takes great pride in being part of a compassionate group of individuals dedicated to enhancing oral health in the community. Recognized for his expertise in dental implants, Dr. Chris Nguyen is well-versed in providing a comprehensive range of dental services, including extractions, root canal treatments, and implant placements. With a genuine commitment to patient care, he strives to deliver exceptional dental services that surpass expectations.
Dr. Nguyen indulges in his interests when not providing exceptional dental care. He finds joy in watching The Office, embracing the humor and camaraderie it offers. Additionally, he seeks adventure on the slopes, relishing in the thrill of skiing. Complementing his active lifestyle, Dr. Nguyen enjoys weightlifting, prioritizing his physical well-being.
